Officers from the Citizen Attention Group of the National Police were conducting routine preventive patrols in the area when they were dispatched to the scene following urgent reports of an individual aggressively threatening and beating several people with wooden sticks.
According to statements provided to the authorities, the confrontation began when the suspect approached a couple sitting on the bar’s terrace and rudely demanded a cigarette. When the couple informed him that they did not have any tobacco and asked him to leave, the man reacted with hostility and initially walked away.
