Migrant Arrested After Attempting To Stab Soldier In Ceuta
CEUTA, Spain – A Moroccan migrant who entered Ceuta during the mass invasion has been arrested after attempting to stab a soldier from a Regulares patrol that had stopped him, in the latest attack on Spanish military personnel in the autonomous city. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon around 2:00 p.m. near the port of Ceuta, when a worker at a warehouse close to the port requested assistance from a Spanish military patrol because a Moroccan migrant had threatened him with death.

Following a search of the area, the soldiers located the migrant, who fled on foot until reaching an alley where he was surrounded. At that moment, the man produced a knife from his clothing and attempted to stab the Spanish soldier, but the attack was evaded and the assailant was subdued and disarmed by the patrol, according to El Faro de Ceuta. The suspect has been taken into custody, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack.
Earlier on Thursday, National Police arrested a Ceuta woman for killing a Moroccan migrant who entered during the July 30 invasion, in an incident that occurred in the Poblado de Regulares neighbourhood. The woman has been arrested, and police are searching for the murder weapon, believed to be a knife. Investigators believe the woman, who had reportedly been displaying behavioural disorders in recent days and had caused damage and a fire only hours before the incident, acted under a psychotic episode during an argument with her cousin, who was in the country illegally.
