The events occurred around 7:30 PM, according to reports from ElCaso.cat. The detained individual is a Dominican national. As several witnesses described, people began running upon hearing the man’s shouts, and two individuals required medical attention for anxiety attacks.

Civil Guard officers managed to apprehend the man, who was taken into custody. Specialist explosive ordnance disposal teams later confirmed that the backpack contained no dangerous materials or devices.
