In a separate incident, a forest fire that broke out on Friday in the municipality of Galar reached the perimeter of the Noáin-Pamplona airport. Although the blaze approached the facility, it did not impact flight operations, as no flights were scheduled during that timeframe. Civil Guard units, alongside SEPRONA environmental agents and municipal police, were deployed to coordinate the response and regulate access to the area.

As the investigation into the causes of the blazes continues, the Civil Guard has detained one individual and is actively investigating another in connection with the Burgohondo fire in Ávila. Authorities have identified the origin of that specific blaze as gross negligence resulting from the illegal use of heavy machinery in an area where such activity is strictly prohibited.
