The death marks the latest tragedy in a series of increasingly desperate and dangerous attempts to reach Spanish territory in North Africa, as migrants continue to employ unconventional and high-risk methods to bypass border controls. The use of paragliders, though rare, represents a growing trend of aerial attempts to enter Ceuta, highlighting the extreme measures some are willing to take and the lethal risks involved.
