MADRID, Spain – A Ceuta citizen has been stabbed by a group of four migrants in the early hours of Friday during an attempted robbery in the La Almadraba area, near the Tarajal border. The events occurred at around 3.45am on Friday when the man was riding his motorcycle and stopped to enter a roundabout.
Soldiers Evacuated to Madrid Hospital After Ceuta Migrant Attack
According to the victim’s account, four migrants approached him with the intention of stealing his mobile phone and a gold chain. During the struggle, the man suffered several wounds caused by a bladed weapon to both sides of his body and one of his hands.
After the assault, the motorcyclist came across a group of soldiers from the Legion unit, who attended to the injured man and alerted police forces to the situation. The citizen was subsequently transferred to the Emergency Department of the University Hospital of Ceuta, where he received medical assistance for his injuries.
