CEUTA, Spain – Police are investigating whether members of an NGO linked to George Soros have been instructing irregular migrants in Ceuta on how to make homemade explosives, following reports from supermarkets that large groups of migrants, assisted by activists, have been purchasing hydrochloric acid and aluminium foil. According to National Police sources consulted by LA GACETA, the purchases may be intended for the preparation of improvised devices known as salfumán bombs, which could be used against the population and authorities.
Two ‘No Name Kitchen’ Activists Arrested in Ceuta for Inciting Violence
The NGO in question, No Name Kitchen, is the same organisation that promoted the legal proceedings that led to the end of hot returns at sea, and is funded by the Open Society Foundations, George Soros’s foundation. Following the mass migration influx, the NGO has continued operating in the autonomous city, distributing food and personal defence equipment to the migrants remaining in the city. Police sources indicate that the purchases were mostly made by migrants of Moroccan origin, some of whom are housed in the CETI reception centre, and investigators are now trying to identify which specific groups made the acquisitions and where the material is being hidden.
Sources have not ruled out the possibility that NGO members may have facilitated storage for the materials. They describe some volunteers as displaying patterns and behaviours associated with antifa groups, many of them French nationals who arrived in Ceuta following the mass entry. Prior to these purchases, these volunteers had already distributed pepper spray to the migrants, and now the focus has shifted to instructing them on how to make homemade devices.
The alert, received from a commercial establishment on Friday, has forced police to track a purchasing pattern that, if confirmed in other shops, would expand the investigation beyond a single point of sale. The National Police have not yet determined who is responsible or the final destination of the materials, but they maintain that the commercial alert fits with a scenario of rising tension in the city, where the CETI is already overwhelmed and foreign volunteers are operating beyond just food assistance.
‘Armada of Solidarity’ with dozens of vessels sets sail for Ceuta this Saturday
Ceuta has been under immense pressure since late July, which has overwhelmed reception centres, health services, and police operations. In this context, the combination of mass purchases of hydrochloric acid and aluminium foil, the suspicion of logistical support from activists, and the profile of the presumed purchasers, Moroccan illegal migrants, some already in detention, has turned the case into a serious security investigation. The inquiries remain open as agents work to determine which groups made the purchases, who helped them store the materials, and whether the chain is limited to Ceuta or extends to other establishments in the area.
